Travelers on British Airways will soon use fast wifi onboard without charge following a new agreement involving Elon Musk's space firm.

The airline announced that this no-cost, “reliable and lightning-fast” connectivity provision from SpaceX becomes offered to customers in economy, business, or first class from next month.

The umbrella firm of British Airways, IAG, stated it had reached an partnership involving Starlink for providing wifi access across over 500 planes across its operators, including the Irish airline, the Spanish carrier, and the low-cost airline.

BA stated that the introduction for the service formed part of a seven billion pound “transformation” program and will provide smooth connectivity service for travelers from the gate through landing, including when they are flying over seas or isolated areas.
